What makes us unique
My background is a little different than the average home inspector. During a 40-year career as a law enforcement and insurance investigator I developed strong observational, organizational and people skills. This enables me to not only "read the scene" and conduct a thorough home inspection, but also to interpret what I’ve observed and effectively communicate those observations to the client. I can present even the most unpleasant set of facts in a way that is completely honest, yet does not unnecessarily alarm the client.
I’m a home inspector because I’m passionate about safety and about helping people. I’m also a home owner and know first-hand how a negative home-buying experience can impact a family.
I bring a woman’s perspective to the home inspection process. I’ve done a little of everything, from driving a school bus to working at an exotic animal farm. I’ve also owned and operated several successful small businesses and worked as a maintenance technician at an apartment complex. All of these positions taught me how to think fast on my feet, how to deal with people from all walks of life, and how to properly operate a business.
I love spending time at home and know how important it is to be happy with the home you buy. Being a home inspector enables me to help people be happy with the home they buy.
